Darren,
I am interested! I am in Brentwood, Essex, so not a million miles away.

I have only just joined the PCGB, and will be at my first event thins w/end (Silverstone Historic Festival).

I need to check the calender, but would be interested in the Surrey run. Please send details to blake@peoplepc.co.uk

Thanks

Can any of you guys in the UK suggest a source for a part for my 73 911? I'd like to find a RHD door pull for the UK passenger side door. It would be the LHD drivers door and it's the part that has the opening handle built into it. I'd like to be able to close my drivers side door using the pull that is available on your passenger side. All doors are pre-drilled and tapped for the part. If that makes any sense and you might be able to direct me to someone who breaks cars there or sells the part, please let me know. Thanks.

Thanks for the help Darren. Doubt I'll make the run, I've got the engine down to main bearings and the car on jack stands. Oh, and then there's the Atlantic to deal with too.
I'll try for the next one...

Bruce,

I would also recommend Karman Konnection as a good source of early 911 (and 356) 2nd hand parts - they advertise in 911 & P world - the number is +44 1702 551776

The only problem with the 2nd approach is that there is probably as many LHD as RHD early cars in the UK. Worth a try though?

Cheers

Cool

Darren

The run sounds good - I picked up my 1971 2.2T on Friday and have been meaning to sign up to the register so this is a good opportunity. Only problem is the rubber connection on the throttle broke only two days into ownership, so I may not be able to make it in my Porsche. Pelican recommend a part from post 74 cars that has a metal surround, any thoughts? I'm waiting to hear from Karmann Connection to see if they can source one - assuming I can source it and fit it by Saturday I'd like to come.

Let me know where you are meeting.
