I will... Just send me your credit card number then I'll go to http://www.carfax.com/ and run the report for you.
Carfax is a very valuable service. I don't understand why people will pay a couple of hundred bucks for a PPI, but try to save $15 on the carfax by having someone else run the number. Sorry for the rant, but having owned a business I think people should pay for the services they get. I'd like Carfax.com to still be around next time I buy a car. If we all put our little bit in their pot then the odds of the company surviving are much greater than if we do each other "favors" by, in effect, stealing the service they provide. |

Carfax report
I just want to say that I am a member of the BMW 6series group and we all very frindly and always do carfax reports when we have purchased them for the 30 days. I must say that I am disappointed w/ this list, but I'll get over it. If anyone needs a car checked out let me know!

As a contrary opinion, I don't think CarFax is very reliable. They have staked their claim to knowing all about later model car histories, but the complaints I have heard about them are the very same you hear about Equifax, TRW, Continental, and other credit report companies. I don't need to go into detail about these companies as I'm sure you have heard or experienced the problems related to self-styled experts of this sort.
Now this is just my ought-two and I don't mean to twist this thread away from Ian's original intent. Allthesame... John

Ian,
Check your e-mail....I forwarded your report. Car looks clean. Happy to help out anyone needing this while my Carfax subscription lasts (about another week). Lee's been cutting and pasting that response for a while now. C'mon Lee, lighten up. Ian, don't take it personally. Just a little axe grinding, nothing more.
