Trying to trace old owners 71T

Hi,

I'm new to the forum, I'm from the UK and am on DDK, I'm sorry if this is in completely the wrong area!

I have a 71 Burgundy T that I have had for about the last 8 years. I think it came into the UK in about 02, it spent almost all it's life in the San Francisco area, Redwood City, Walnut Creek. It has loads of history, 20 years of receipts from Valhalla in CA. I spoke to a chap there today that remembers the car and says he will speak to one of the previous owners and give him my contact details, hopefully he will get in touch!

I do have a bunch of receipts with another owners details, I've tried all the numbers but they are no longer active, they did buy some stuff from pelican so I wondered if they may be on the forum. I'm not sure of the etiquette of naming people without their knowledge on a public forum though!

Any help greatly received.

Mind you, some may be dead. :-) It happens.

My 81 was a lease car owned by four doctors then an engineer. Lots of receipts. Found them all except the one Dr who died. They all liked talking abut the car.
