Rear Reflector Restoration
How's that for alliteration in my title? Anyway, I recently bought a nice reflector from a Pelican, but all the black letters have some black paint missing. Please see picture attached. Is there a way to get the lettering solid black again?

I "restored" the reflector on my Targa in by doing the following:
- Gently scrubbing the backside with a stiff nylon brush to knock out any flaking paint/reflective stuff. - Painting the letters with some satin black model paint and a small brush - Spraying the reflector (and over the letters) on the backside with "chrome" Rustoleum It came out OK. The plastic on mine is in bad shape... |

I took mine to a powder coater to have it "gently" media blasted. Worked out excellent. Paint the black areas first - then I shoot a grey color over everything - matched what was on mine originally
