Sway bar bracket location.

In the restoration of my car 1968 swb, rear sway bar mounting brackets were not replaced immediately, I am interested to get measurements to their location.

And potentially the brackets themselves is there a difference in location across the years, eg can measurements be taken from modern car?

Thanks Rich

>>>In the restoration of my car 1868 swb,

Sway bars weren't introduced until 1890, when cornering speeds topped 5MPH and something had to be done for the safety of the driver and mechanic on board.

On a serious note, are you talking about the front or rear ones? I'm not that familiar with the older cars, but I would think the mounting points might be obvious if you can get under the car with the weight on the wheels and hold the bar up to the body.

Ok, there is a difference in sway at bracket, I see the correct bracket can be ordered not here for £20 each, they would locate onto original panels just behind torsion tube, however I have used longitudinal repair panels, so will need measurements. Or pictures with ruler for scale.
