Metal Rescue does it really work ?

Have you tried Metal Rescue rust remover ?
Does it really work ?
I have some parts that are rusted and would like to use it. In their videos it works like magic, are those true ?

Stuff with phosphoric acid in it will make rust into iron phosphate. But if the panel has cancer, this stuff will only slow it down a little. Surface rust? Works fine for that.

I've used a great number of phosphoric acid based rust eaters. They are like magic on surface rust, but considerably less magical on gnarled/pitted/deep set rust. They just take longer and need some brushing/scrubbing. My recommendation is Naval Jelly (available at autozone and Home Depot) because it has the right consistency to hold onto all sides of a part rather than running off. If you're de-rusing an old wrench, sure liquid is good, but jelly is better for most automotive applications. Wear protective gear.

they all run the RedOX rxns back the other way - i.e. reduction

some have tannic acid or some such in them and will cause some other rxns to an organic compound - might be a chelate, can't recall - there is an old thread where I did some research on this and posted it
