New Paint! Finally!
My 76 now, an SC I guess, just got shot yesterday. Originally light yellow, it seems a little yellower, but looks great. Not a jillion dollar job, but not too bad for a boondock alabama job with a one-eyed painter. Old Oddis really did a nice job. I CANT WAIT TO GET IT HOME! I have to put all windows in, interior, carerra cooler etc, hope to have it ready for the 9/13 DE at Tallegeda.
We have put in 86 swaybars, homemade adjustable spring plates, bilstein sports, lowered 7&8 944T Fuchs, brand spanking new rebuilt 3.0 83 euro motor with new SSI, nice patina, SC flares. Gosh, this has been a long project, but now worth it! Coming home tomorrow! Turbo tail, but now the question is to ducktail or not? Have carerra script too! WAHOO!!!!! Will post pics as soon as I figger it out! ![]()

John:
Shoot some pictures now and as the reassembly of trim and such goes along, drive that sucker for a while, wipe the smile off your face (if possible!) then show us the images! It's always nice to drive a new 911 off the lot (pre-996 of course ![]() ![]() Best, Kurt |

I am in Tuscaloosa, rollll tide! A great place, the most beautiful coed's in america, no threads please! Getting a good car guy culture with the MBZ folks around. Better yet, getting a top notch road track in Birminghan, 67 miles from the house. Barber, the milk guy, who has one of the nicest motorcycle museums in the world, is building a beautiful track, which is nearing completion. A huge museum, camping by the Cahaba river, and a really beautiful complex. I think Barber was one of the original PCA guys here, so we should be well treated. Thanks for the encouragement guys, this projecthas not been possible w/o help from guys like you and my dear friends Howard Freeman(eurosports of Gulfport Ms.) and Bill Webster of Meridian. Great friends and just good to be around. Howie taught me how to build a tight motor in three days in a 125 degree shop and Webster taught me how to do great metal work and PATIENCE!
