Bumper painting advice requested
Hi Pelicans - I’m replacing the stock bumper buffers on my ‘83SC with the narrow Euro ones.
Taking the time to repaint the bumper and looking for some advice to share with the paint shop. I’ll be filling the extra bolt holes of course, but are there any special instructions to provide? Esp for the pieces that are on the sides/facing the road? Thanks. |

Agree. Typically more action here, but I will cross-post. Thanks.

all I can say at this point is if you feel you have to give the shop your having do your paint work advice then my advice is to find another shop.

I agree with 962porsche; also, make sure the holes are welded up and not just fiberglassed over or something like that. Take a look at in-progress work in their shop and also cars they have just done paint work on to see how they look.
