will these wheels fit?
I have access to two sets of wheels and tires.
I have a 1987 3.2 Carrera. I'm not prepared to roll the fenders: Set one: Fuchs (with fox) FRONT. 9113621 AS1062 7Jx16 211 FCO G7 3387 205 Tires: 225/50/16 REAR. 1362117 AS1062 8JX16 4219 FCO Tires: 225/50/16 Set two: Australian five spoke (no name on them): 8JJ16 ROH 11P 9" wide by measure Tires: 245/45/16 FRONT. :7JJX16 ROH 28P 8"+ by measure Tires: 225/50/16 REAR. Both sets of wheels/tires have been used on a 1983.5 Porsche 944. Thanks in advance! Sheldon |

I think you mixed up your front and rear labeling on the 2nd set, and ROH is the brand on that set, it's an Australian wheel company.
A 16x7 will fit on the front of your 87 911 but a 225 tire may rub on turns, pulling up in a driveway, etc. A 205/55/16 would be a better fit in front. You will fit either 16x8 on the back with lots of room to spare. A 225/50/16 would be the standard size recommended by Porsche, but a 245/45/16 works fine and is a little wider but slightly smaller in diameter. |

A 16x7 Fuchs with a 225/50 tire WILL rub unless you roll the lips and run lots of negative camber, and it's usually worse on the left front.
Also, I would never run a 225/50 both front and rear on a 911 The ROH wheels are a very nicely made product. I've had several sets over the past two decades and in fact at one point was a low volume dealer for them back in the early 90's. Put probably 20 friends on the wheels as track sets and never had a problem with any of them other than the fact that as a cast wheel they're heavy. Those front wheels (agree I think you mixed up front and rear) are most likely a 16x7.5 since to the best of my knowledge ROH never made a 16x8. So as a 16x7.5 with the SP28 (that's a 28mm offset) you should have no problems fitting them in the front, though the 225/50 tire might get tight. I've only ever experienced those front wheels with a 205/55 and there was plenty of room. The rears are probably a 16x8.5 actual size, with the 11mm offset. With the 245/45 tire, that's a perfect combination for the rear of the car. So based on my experience I'd prefer the ROH combination of wheels and tires, unless you can get the front tires on the Fuchs changed to a 205/55.
