What is this electrical connector?
Found this in the passenger footwell under the floorboard, wrapped in masking tape. Anybody know what it is?

That's a Sub-D connector and definately didn't come from the factory (I think). You will need to trace where the camle goes to find out the purpose of it.

That sort of makes sense. I found it under an aftermarket amp, which was stuffed under the floorboard. Blocking the return air duct to the air conditioning box. Also noticed a similar sized cable cut off in the trunk. Wonder if they're connected...
Thanks guys. Nathan

I pulled it out today. It ran into trunk and was cut off. Also found a coax cable in the passenger footwell that ran all the way to the back of the car but was cut off a both ends. Weird ...
