Dry oil sump, how much oil does it hold?
I know it comes out fast but not sure if holds over 9qts.?
The largest single container I have is 9qts Thinking 9 would drain from the dry sump and 1.5 from the engine sump? Checked Bentley and there is no break down. Anyone ever measure these out?  Thanks

My 85 held more than 10 quarts. Get a larger container just in case. Don't forget that the oil comes out fast and a small hole in the center of a large flat catchment may not be large enough to let the oil pass into the lower part of the container before it overflows. I found this out the hard way. These days I use a large flat container with more than ample capacity.

If you have a large pool chlorine bucket,they work very well and hold all the oil that will come out of the tank !
