I have a 1970 911T. The little polished centre piece inside one of my gauges has fallen off and is rolling around behind the glass. Can the glass be easily removed to fix this back on?

Not easily. You have to carefully pry open the bezel from behind the gauge. There are some threads on the Technical Forum here. Do a search. Also check this out:

I wouldn't recommend it if you want to preserve the factory appearance of your gauge. Give the guys at Seattle Speedometer a call. They'll turn it around quick for you at a very fair price.

Thanks for the info. I followed porwolf's link and the procedure was quite easy. After using a small screwdriver to lift the outer ring slightly, I used two small pieces of hacksaw blade with the teeth ground off to get inside the outer ring and tap it off. I glued the centre piece back on and re fitted with no marks or dents in the outer ring, took about 30mins. Thanks.....
