67 912 Matching numbers......?
Just looked at a 912 with engine number (on engine) 1280515.
The engine number in the servicebook says P755833. Seller claims it to be matching. Am I missing something here? Christian |

The service book is right, the engine number should start with #75, the engine in the car is 1968 or 1969. regards, Eric |

That is a 1968 912 engine #; the 8 is the year digit. What you are missing is an honest seller.
