911 79 heating airflow swap to pre-74 style

Hi!
I like a "clean" engine bay for optical benefit and technical purpose (better acess to the sparkplugs), that's why I deleted my AC kompressor to the right side and deleted the airpump fully on the left side.

Next now is to delete the heatblower for the heating to the left.
In theory it seems easy:
- delete blower and black hot air hose left...

- swap both nozzels left and right next to the main fan...

There are two questions:
a) is there anythin special to take care about, when disconnecting the blower?
and
b) does anyone know these parts from QSC? Do they fit an SC snugly?

Many have done this. Try searching for 'heater backdate'

Read the reviews of the Pelican pieces

I had to beat my new $90 Pelican backdate plate to clear the dizzy on my SC motor. I should have waited for an OEM Turbo part. Some 3.2 people have to cut & weld to clear the bigger 3.2 dizzy. Best of luck.

Good job. The driver's side takes a little messaging with a hammer. Kind of a scary thing to do if you bought brand new parts. It was also the first project I did to my 911, so was surprised that a hammer would be the first tool. Made me feel like Jeremy Clarkson.

well I avoided the hammer to do the full job of fitting, because it was obvious I'd bend/crincle the whole thing up.

so I H-cut the tin, forced it inward, hammered a bit the corners and welded it.
some heatprotection tape to protect the cableshoe extra, finished.
