Finally got most of the parts to reconstruct a 78 911 that was hit in the passenger side front... I need a good and reasonable frame shop... I have the clip to replace the damage. Should I get it straightened and then put the clip in, (from the front shocks forward), or just get it straightened and put it back together? All advice is appreciated... I am located in Baltimore, MD and would be willing to travel up and down route 95, 50 miles each way or a 50 mile radius of Baltimore, MD.
Thanks in advance... Nestor J. Velazquez Navy Veteran ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() |

Look up porsche962 in the paint and bodywork forum and PM him. He has a shop up your way. He is top notch.

Advice.
Nestor, regardless if you just get the car straighten/aligned or you will have the front clip installed, make sure that the shop that does the work has a Jig bench. Two makers are approved by Porsche; Car-Bench and Celette. You can only get the job done correctly and square on a Jig bench.
Good luck and post pics. Bill. |
