Your must haves for a 3.2 build!

Hi

A friend and I are just starting a build on a 3.2 for my 71. I believe the current
motor has issues with one or more of the con rods. Either way what would
be on your list of must haves. Parts ,specs brands etc. I currently have freshly rebuilt Zenith's 40 for it with MSD ignition. I thought it would be nice to get some advice/input from those in the know. I was planning a mild rebuild but if it's open why not give it a little more attention. Thanks for any input.

Cheers
John

What's your budget and intended use? You could do cams, ARP rod bolts, hi-compression pistons, twin-plug, ported heads, flowed intake etc etc if money's no object.

On a budget, maybe cams, headers (if heat is not needed), M&K muffler and tuned Motronic, I wouldn't put carbs on my 3.2, too much tuning needed.
Do a search, it's all been done before.

Thanks for the input guys, I also have European Headers and exhaust. The Carbs were already on the car so I am going to stick with it. I am in the process of trying to get 964 rsa cams.
