G-50 Console delete- what did you do for a shift boot?

Just pulled my console out to replace a worn ball coupler, and decided its not going back in. Long term plans are to delete A/C and backdate heat. Has anyone come up with something aesthetically pleasing for a shift boot? The mounting area is an odd shape, so I'm looking for ideas here. Please post pics- would also like to see different takes on the hazard and rear defrost relocation.
