Frame off resto - SC Targa
Removed the tail and painted to my new favorite color - Bitter Chocolate
Next is some paint touch up, refinishing the interior, paint the targa bar / bright work, final assembly, and front end alignment. :D http://forums.pelicanparts.com/uploa...1376660329.jpg http://forums.pelicanparts.com/uploa...1376660347.jpg |
What, no suspension upgrades??
Be carefull, i hear it is easy to get upside down on these projects :)
Looks like you literally painted it with melted chocolate.
Yea, it was my first time painting a whole car. Not the best but a decent driver quality. No suspension at this time; too many other projects. Really needed the alignment because bad pull to the right.
That's a 10-incher.
Is that the ultra rare euro turbo targa? Or is it just turbo look?
Clearly not a real Porsche since Porsches don't have frames.;) Must be one of them VW kit cars.

Get a laser thermometer to check heat of tires as well after spirited driving. I like the milled garage floor look. Anti skid. Get Testors spray paint at a hobby shop. Acrylic. Comes out beautiful. Not as durable as single stage 22 Line Glasurit with 929 hardener but after a year the acrylic will set up hard enough to put a 10" wool wheel to it and get your shine "on" Also, just a general word of advice, when re-installing the chassis/frame and frustration sets in, just walk away for a bit. |
Wonder if one of those headlight polish kits would work on the windows?
But the real questions are:
1) what kind of oil are you going to use? 2) Swepco or Kendall? 3) you gonna put SPAL fans on your AC condenser? |
