Help: Valve cover stuck
Why the heck can't I get the upper passenger side valve cover off? I don't recall ever having this problem before. I have all six nuts off. It won't budge! Do I have to remove the A/C bracket? I don't remember having to do that.

No - A/C bracket does not have to come off.
Sounds like it's just grunged on. Hit it with some penetrating oil around the gasket area, and gently tap it with a soft hammer, while wiggling it if you can.

Looks like some corrosion on the studs rap it with a plastic hammer or a wood block.

Finally! It's off! It was simply a bit glued down to the gasket.
I'll pick up with the valve adjustment tomorrow. I've learned that when you start getting mad, you need to put the project aside for a bit.

You can't get mad at these cars they're a little finicky but so much fun when you win.
