Mystery Porsche Crests

Hi, I have these two Porsche crests that I'm trying to identify. I figured, as this is the most active board on this site, someone might know. They are about 1 1/8" x 1 5/8". They are curved, with a singular post on the back. There are no markings, other than a trademark circle on the back. I can't find any other markings on them at all. They were originally mounted directly on the sail panels of my old 914. However, they clearly were not factory. I didn't know if anyone knew what they originally from. It is intriguing that they are curved, like they were on a hood of some kind, but they are much smaller than I've ever seen.

Yeh, look like 356 hood crests.

Is the second one really an solid (opaque color & no visible dimples) orange bar version, or that a trick of the light/flash?

The second one is definitely more orange than the first one, but I think the lighting makes it look a little more drastic than it is. No dimples on either one that I see. I can get better pictures later today.

Here are a couple more pictures. My wife says that I'm colorblind and that the orange one is REALLY orange. The red one is a dark red, almost burgundy. Any ideas as to value? I don't know much of anything about 356's.

The orange one is quite valuable, check out DDK-Online

If I remember correctly there was something on there. They will certainly give you an answer.

Cheers,
Paul
