Question about SC exhaust (w pics)

Looks like I have to get my muffler replaced as it has developed a hole and is in pretty bad shape with rust.
Was looking at some options and will prob go with M&K 1in1out muffler - any thoughts on this. (Due to financial constraints SSI's type set up is out).
I have taken some pictures of the underside and Im guessing that is a premuffler attatched to the main muffler? It is a 1980sc. I dont see any oxygen sensor.

In that case shouldnt there be an oxygen sensor someplace? Or was that in later models?

Is that a Euro ...930-9/10 engine? Looks like a pre muffler. Fabspeed/M&K sell pre mufflers but you'll need to block the sensor hole.

Car originally came from U.K so Im guessing its a Euro engine. The main muffler is the part thats really in bad shape with holes ( not in pics). This thing in the pics seems to be ok so will prob leave as it is for now. Please excuse the really novice questions but how do u differentiate, and what essential difference between "test pipe" vs cat convertor vs premuffler?

1980sc w/M&K Pre-Muffler & M&K 1 in 1 out

I recently deleted my CAT & installed an M&K Pre-Muffler & M&K 1 in 1 out on my 1980sc
The pre muffler has the port for the OX sensor. I do not have mine installed.

Your M&K premuffler looks very nice How is the overall noise with your set up, is is ok for everyday daily driving?
So it seems I must have a Euro premuffler as pete3799 suggested.

the euro premuffler has some baffling that reduces the sound a little. a test pipe is just a hollow pipe. it is called a test pipe because in theory it is a temporary replacement for the cat converter used for testing purposes (in reality obviously it is often used to permanently replace the cat). you have the euro premuffler.
