Convert 3.2 engine to 73 911
HI, I am converting 3.2 engine to my 73 911, thing done well right now, but yesterday I find my oil temp lshow ower than original 2.4 engine(use original 73 gauge ), should swap to 73 2.4 oil temp sensor like oil pressure sender?
Need you guys input. Many thanks! TIEN |
In my case there was no need to change the sending units. Oil temperature, pressure, and even the tachometer were accurate. My 2.4T engine did run hot in the warm summer months. Sometimes up near 240 degrees. The 3.2 usually ran 180 on cooler days, and around 210 on hot days with light traffic. The front cooler I added helped quite a bit.
