if there are any crimped connections related to ecu or ignition I'd check those first.

When I encounter a problem like this, I use a whole series of LED's to help me track down the problem. I have a plastic radio shack box I made with 8 LEDS and 8 resistors that I can setup to either track power or ground. For example, in this case I'd monitor input power to the Haltech, output power to fuel pump, pulse grounds to fuel injectors and coil(s), maybe even input sensors like crank position.
Then, with it all running, I have real-time status, and when the problem occurs I can instantly tell what is working and what is not; for example the power to the Haltech being cut from a problem with some external switch. HTH, Chuck.H '89 TurboLookTarga, 361k miles |
