Which CIS Pressure Test Set to Buy?

I have an 82 SC new to me, and am confused as to which test set to buy. PP and Amazon have a many choices. What set do you recommend? Please include mfg part number and source.

Thanks

Chip

This is the one I bought: Tool Aid 33865 C.I.S. K-Jetronic Fuel Injection Tester with Case - Amazon.com

Well made and I've been very happy with it.

Just looked at PP prices. $229. Jesus H Cribbies - they were less than $150 not long ago.

I say go with ossiblue's recommendation.

Harbor Freight has sets for $100 but they are usually only adequate.

Good job on seeking these out early in ownership.

I just bought one from Pelican $118

Worked great has all the fittings for connecting to the disconnected fuel line between the WUR and the FD.

Don't connect to the FD directly. (Ask me how I know)
Ok I will tell you….. Let's just say even though Tony warned me not to connect up at the FD I snapped the Banjo connector on the injector fuel line to the number one Cylinder and then Lenny had to make me a new line.

These names may not mean much now but if you are new to the CIS they will eventually be great resources along with Jim, Bob, Paul, Dennis, joe, Gunter plus ossiblue and Tim and the rest of the CIS Gurus who are very generous with their time and knowledge.

I'm in the same spot. My issue is I see some top notch MAC and SnapOn sets of top quality on Craigslist and EBay and tons of adapters but not clear if Bosch CIS K Jet etc fittings I need are there.
I want top quality so I can trust it and I read some not so great reviews.

Nick,

Another name on my list is Ossiblue (LJ) together with the above names. All together, there is no CIS problem known to men that these guys could not diagnosed or solved. These guys are good!!!!! And don't forget the effort and contribution of Tim I. for composing the 'CIS troubleshooting for Dummies' or something like it. Can't remember the exact title but it's close. And many others active in this forum.

Tony

Well made and I've been very happy with it.

I also have one of these and I'm happy. It was useful to see the photo in the Amazon site. Now, I know in which recesses to store each fitting !

PS - In fact I have a gripe. My 74' CIS has the throttle valve (or TPR) and I couldn't find a suitable fitting in those supplied, that allowed me to connect the gauge between the FD on one side and the WUR and TPR on the other.
Instead of finding the right fitting, I've been letting the TPR out of the circuit (during the test) and adjusting the pressures slightly higher to compensate for. I know... not right.
