OT - Last weekend I got driven in anger in this:
It was freakin' cool - 60mph AVERAGE on a wet road as twisty (and in parts twistier) to the ones Jack keeps posting videos of.
It was a closed road and the event was timed - a co-driver was needed as it was technically a rally, but at 3.75km long, I wasn't useful... The BMW and I will try and enter these soon, when it is done... but we won't be anywhere near as fast. The car itself (A Triumph TR7) has 300hp from 3.5l and weighs about 1000kg. Scariest bit is 2m wheelbase and watching the driver steer it almost entirely with his right foot.
