Timing low idle
Today 04:18 PM - permalinkAllstarmt
I have a 1986 911 with turbo it was running ok we changes the plugs and now the car won't idle. It starts then dies out. I am try ing advance the timing but their isn't enough space. Can I lift the shaft on the distrubtor to advance the timing so I can time it? Edit Report |

If all you did was change plugs without touching the distributor I'm guessing that you have some plug wires on the wrong plugs. Verify that wires are hooked up correctly before touching the distributor.

a lot of times we dont get the full story. very possible he pulled the dist. if not, you are right on with crossed plug wires.
