This is how you get more hp from your 3.2 Carrera!!!
|
The TurboPerformance guys had their supercharged 993 [yep, the car on the cover of Excellence recently]at Summit Point this weekend for the OG Racing time trials. Just a beautiful installation - superb castings, and very clean layout. Adds 100+HP, but at a fraction of the cost of the TT, and with the added benefit of boost right across the rev range. Certainly a tempting idea!!

Anyone know if the Carrera tail will accomidate a Paxton SC? I haven't seen one yet.

I am fairly certain that the Paxton unit requires a turbo tail. I think the Whipple unit will fit under the Carrera tail, and even the factory deck lid though. -Eric |
Im going through the Supercharging process now!! The turbo Tail is required. I am using the 94 Turbo "S" tail (89 Carerra).

What about a "power bulge" ala Triumph TR 250 on a regular tail. Never mind...
