Foto Quelle RSR Colors

Does anyone know what the color scheme that was used on the 3.0 RSR that was sponsored by Foto Quelle in the mid 70s. There is a black and white picture in Starkey's RSR book which shows the pattern but not the acutal colors. I would like to paint my RSR replica like this. If anyone knows I'd appreciate a reply.

Thanks
David

Sorry no pic, but the car was blue, with pink, yellow and orange stripes. Kind of gut wrenching, but I guess making the opposition queasy is a way of slowing them down

Is this the car you had in mind?

Cheers, Chris

The car resides in California as pictured- it is a remarkable restoration- you should have seen the "RACED" car as it arrived from Hong Kong!
Try to pick another scheme, as this car exists- no fun copying someone else's unique paint job.
Is imitation the sincerest form of flattery?

Porsche Crest

Call me crazy, but I don't see any problem in "copying" that paint scheme. After all, think of how many "Jagermeister" and "Martini" replicas are out there!

Here's another of the FotoQuelle 911 - Larry and Jan Grove owns this '74 RSR. This is from the Porsche Parade in Boise this year, where Larry ran against me in the M3 autocross class.

The darker blue is called "Acid Blue", my whole car is painted this colour.... it is not common. The previous owner chose it from some 1974 colour chips. It is very close to "Ossi Blau" from that era. If you do a google search there is reference to a RSR painted solely in this colour but I can't remember the details.

Thanks Jim, I love it too...

When I was looking for an early 911, there were a couple I looked at with lower miles/better features etc..., but I just couldn't get past the colour

Oops, I got my facts wrong. The one that was blue, pink orange and yellow was the KremerVaillant car. here's a pic:
