Weber 40IDT With a stuck air mixture screw and now cracked shoulder...

Working on getting my new to me webers stripped down and was working out a screw that is stuck... Well I ended up cracking the shoulder. Any thoughts on how to proceed from this point? Any insight is appreciated.

Thanks in advance!

Casey

JB Weld?

You may be able to get some in there and get the 2 parts clamped together until cured. You could run the screw in and out while curing to chase the threads clean.

I've repaired several of these by replacing the boss with a press-in boss of original proportions and then re-machine the inner throttle bore to clean up the part that sticks into the bore.
