Question Innovative autosports 911 chip ???

eBay INNOVATIVE AUTOSPORTS 911 CHIP - are these any good ???????

their name is an apparent knock-off on INNOVATE

no install instructions - they say "google it"

fwiw - - my main issue is bypassing the 02 circuit

There really is only one name you need to consider when looking for a/m performance chips for a 3.2 Carrera. Steve Wong.

Further, any tuning company whose sole presence on the internet seems to be restricted to EBay only scares the hell out of me.

Digging deeper the folks on some BMW boards don't have anything nice to say. -J

fwiw - - my main issue is bypassing the 02 circuit

i swapped in the Innovative-autosports 911 racing chip (eBay) and the car runs fine on it -

I can't say there is much apparent difference from the stock chip

- a slightly more aggressive timing curve is noticable only in the 2200-2800 rpm range and that only at altitudes twixt 4000-6000'

after 500 km on it - fuel mileage equals oem chip at 24 mpg

compare to my simultaneous unhappy experience with a 911 powerprom chip (18mpg) - see parallel thread "performance chip"
