993s wheel fitment on 88 Carrera?

Any idea if 17" 993 wheels will fit "comfortably" on an 88 carrera?

Size:

Front: 7J17 w/ 205/50/17
Rear: 9J17 w/ 255/40/17

Thanks
Charles

You need spacers. Use the search button in the upper right and you'll find a ton on information on this topic.

my 88 coupe is lowered with fenders rolled- im running 17's with 255s out back and 215s up front -- set up by scargo in the bay area- no rubbing, no spacers, gr8.

take a look- any other questions, hit me up! cheers.

I would assume that the above is with replicas. With factory 993 wheels you will need to run spacers as the offsets are not correct for 74-89 911's.
