It goes in the topmost of the two breather hoses coming off the oil tank filler neck. Should be the hose that runs to the intake. Sits an inch or two in, narrow end pointing at the oil tank. -J

I can insert this part in the top hard pipe that comes off the oil tank....nests right in...hose can snug up around this brass insert and the hard pipe...hose clamp holds it all in place.

Is this how it's supposed to go together?

that's how it starts out, but it always ends up in the hose.
