How to remove left side chaincase cover
 

'77 911S. I did the updated chain tensioners many years ago but now I need a refresher on the quickest way to remove the left side cover. I know I need to remove that rear tin piece at least. Smog pump is removed already. There seems to be enough room to pull the chaincase cover off without removing the muffler - but do I also need to undo the engine mounts in order to move the tin out of the way? I did a search on this but really finding a post with the details I need. Thanks in advance.
