They have been planning this for a while, but you didn't hear about it because it was over on the 912 board. |

I'll go out on a limb here and say that it looks as if it was a 912 Registry event....
As always, I could be wrong.

My friend Jones' car is done there somewhere. it's the mustard (forget the official p-car name) 912. The location is somewhere in Santa Barbara from what he told me last week. A bunch were at Pelican Parts a few months ago the same time/day as the Early S Registry breakfast meeting a few clicks away. I invited them over but I guess they preferred to hang out, smooze and buy parts from Wayne.

Did you hide your Rgruppe sticker ?? I've read some of the 912 registry posts...thoze boyz don't smoooze often with the "flat six" boyz....

This was the 1st ever West Coast 912 Rendezvous. 43 cars in the photo, 50+ (including 2 racecars) at the hotel. I went to Dunkel's this year and didn't see this many early cars in one place.
Sherwood - Jones' car is bahama yellow. He and I drove up together on Saturday morning. Curtis - I have yet to get my RGruppe sticker. But if and when I get it I'll gladly display it. Not directly 911 related, but I figured you guys would get a kick out of the photo.
