2007 Carerra S Coupe HELP
Hello, I am new to the forum as well as to being a Porsche Owner. I purchased a 07 Carerra S Coupe several months ago in near mint condition with very low miles ( one owner). I have only used the car on the road 6-7 times on short drives, never in the rain as well as I travel often.. Here is my problem. When I rinse off or wash the car there is a fair amount of water on the driver side and little on the passenger side of the bottom of the door jam floor ( not inside the carper floor) on the bottom of the door, on the painted metal. I did test the windshield with water and no leakage, did check the drains and all clean. The water looks like its coming in through the front of the door. Don't think its coming in through the glass or mirror seal.. I stopped at a body shop and they told me this was normal as long as the water didn't come on the floor matt. I find it hard to believe that every time i was the car or it rains , I would have water the clean up, and the condition of the paint on the door jams or door floor it doesn't look like and previous water stains rust etc, look brand new.. Any help and guidance would be most appreciated.. Many Thanks.

I assume your talking about the door threshold, it is normal. There is a problem if the water is getting past the door seal that is inboard of the threshold. Yours was probably still clean from the dealer's detail job.
