If you can, you should check the archives from the BMW Digest from a few years ago (probably around 3 years ago).

They ran that ESC guy out on a rail. Some people had bought that thing, done some testing on it, the lengths of the tread puts the "I want a V8" thread to shame. Charts, graphs, testing, theories, etc. etc. Some of the funniest automotive posts I've ever read, before and since, came out of the ESC thread. People even made up web sites specifically for making fun of the ESC device, some were really clever and absolutely hilarious. M3's with Black and Decker leaf blowers attached to the intake, etc. Pretty funny.

A blow drier attached to the intake, a potent cocktail of Slick 50 and Duralube in the crankcase, and a coolcollar to keep it all together, would make the Ultimate 911!
