Yep, I had a set in my 944. Loved them, even on long trips. Im 5, 9 210 and Ifit in them fine. I had both the standard and a wide body seats and either fit me great. A little hard to get in and out of, so for daily use, it would be a bit of a pain.

I have the non-carbon version of those (Profi SPG) which I believe are the same size. You may want to try them on if possible, I am 5.10 and 155lbs and find them very comfortable but snug. Pole positions are very similar and a bit wider, Profi SPG XL is wider still.

nice seats, if your waist is 36+ you will likely need the XL version

Thanks for the info guys.
My waist is about 33/34" so I might just fit.
I'm going to test fit tomorrow, and if they fit, I'm buying them!
Anybody know what a stock Carrera Seat weighs?

Not sure if you mean 74 Carrera or later 84+ Carrera but the sport seat (74) I have weighs about 37lbs. I added Recaros and only saved 4lbs.

I do not disbelieve in anything. I start from the premise that everything is true until proved false. Everything is possible.

Be sure to note where the shoulder bolsters end up. I went with Pole Positions because even though I liked the SPGs a little better, the shoulder bolsters were just a touch too high, so the bottom of them created an irritating rub point.

I've sat in one in an old racing 911 at a Little LeMans event with the Flying Lizards. It enveloped me.

That is probably a good data point.

I bought my pole positions from someone who was too tall for the shoulder bolsters.
I'm 5'10 and the shoulders and belt passthroughs are perfect for my height. Any taller and it sounds like these SPGs would be a better fit for tall guys.

(Geronimo, Congratulations on the purchase)
