To repair or not to repair, spring plate bushing seat
Hi All,
Below picture details the spring plate bushing seat of my 81SC. As you can see the bottom part of the 'shoulder' has almost diappeared. The rest of the seat is rust infected too, but is still solid, even after some grinding. Now to my question: Do I have to repair the 'shoulder' and if yes how? (Yes, I did search the forum but could not find a solution for this particular issue.) Kind Regards Andi

Thanks Chris,
I am aware of this 'solution'. I do not believe though that my case requires such a drastic measure. Do I need to repair at all and if yes, how can I replace the missing part of the 'shoulder'? Andi |
