Raymond, Porsche part numbers generally comprise 9 digits.

For instance the part number for a 2.4/2.7 conrod is :-

911 103 015 37

I may be able to help since I believe I am "dealing" with the same guy...

If it is the same guy (wink, wink, nudge, nudge, say no more...) , then he and I have exchanged some emails and he indicated that the rods in question come with cylinders which are 95mm in diameter and have a KS symbols stamped on the bottoms...which would suggest they are 3.0 litre alusil parts. But I agree he seems pretty darned clueless...but at least he is honest about it...I was originally thinking of pursuing the deal...but I must admit I think I have found a way to use my own parts instead and am planning to let it go this time...even though the price seems to be excellent...

As for the original question: I searched some of the online companies that let you search by part number and I found nothing that matches...however, if you assume he transposed the last three digits and *really* meant 015, then it matches up with his other cylinder observations...and if you decide to try his parts, then check over at the "short stroke 3.2" thread where we are discussing the merits of having a company called US Chrome replate alusil cylinders...

I hope this helps...
