DME timing adjustment screw......what do the numbers mean? While checking if I have the original chip in my DME, I noticed an adjustment screw with like (7) numbers on it. What is this adjustment? What can it do for my stock 3.2 as far as idle is concerned( mine idles a little low IMO). |

BTW: mine is set at the (0) position as it stands. I can adjust from 0-7 by rotating the screw, but I don't want to change anything until I know what I'm doing. |

So Warren, are any of these my DME? Or, do I assume I should just leave this is adjustment in the stock http://944dme.tripod.com/switch.htmposition (0)? Anyone ever experiment with this adjustment?http://944dme.tripod.com/switch.htm |

Using the table on the U.S. DME: what would be the result of setting it to position (4), which is a (0) % change in fuel mixture and a -4.15 % change in ignition timing? |
