a nightmare...
Tragic weekend...My 964c4 was swiped while it was in a parking garage. The left front side of the car's been injured by a careless driver. I need help finding a shop thats around the northern virginia/maryland/washington dc, area that can do a professional job of getting my baby back into its original shape without the extra headache incompetent work. The work I need done are to pull out the minor dents to my front left panel, paint and install a lightweight c4 front bumper. Also, Anyone know where I can purchase a new lightweight c4 front bumper with a reasonable price? Please help.....seems like a nightmare, and I cant wake up....
-thanks, Sasaki... |

....Love hurts...
and, mind you, I sympathize with you ...fellow... sufferers. Regrettably, I can't help you other than with mere sympathy but, in passing, would remark that ... waiting 10 weeks in Sweden ... waiting X-time everywhere else ... I've been waiting since 15th May for some major body work to be ...started... (it's now on the way to being ...finished by abt. 6th September forthcoming). Is this a general thing: waiting, waiting for body shops to do their (highly respectable, I must add) thing??? I understand patience is a virtue. I am VERY virtuous, then ![]()

Sasaki, sorry to hear that your 964 is damaged. The recommendations that I typically see on the PCA Potomac web site are:
- Lewis Hauser @ Karosserie in Merrifield 703.876.6300 - WagonWorks on Rt 1, Alexandria After you get your 964 fixed up, come join our local Pelicanheads for our various activities such as the upcoming Fun Run 2 in mid-Spetember.

I'm really sorry to hear about your car. I'd be sick. I'm getting sick just thinking about it.
The PO of my car sent it to this place all the way from Houston because of their reputation. The car is beautiful and I always get compliments on the paint work. I don't know what they did that's so great, but you could call them and ask. Jones Body Shop 2215 South Elm Eugene St. Greensboro, NC 27406 910-275-1285 910-275-1404 fax

Try 'Karosserie' in Fairfax (Merryfield). Ask for Lewis and tell him I sent you. He does excellent work on restorations and I saw the results of a recent repair on a 993 C4 Arctic Silver where the customer didn't want the fender and hood replaced so he fixed and repainted and it looks amazing! He did my bumper and duck tail...excellent work!
They can be reached at 703.876.6300 --Dan |

Dan- I'll be waiting for the mid-september run (hopefully my car will be ready by then) |
