Question Are these cylinders OK?

The cylinder surface is fine, but there is slight pitting as shown.

Paul,

The cylinder top sealing surface is NOT OK! If I am not mistaken ... no gasket or sealing ring is used on 98 mm cylinders.

Paul,

Those cylinder top sealing surfaces can be machined flat again ... but extra shims will probably be needed to get back to the minimum cylinder height requirement.
