Is this both mirrors to the 911 model??

Hie!

I start to wonder if I have been fooled when I bought my new mirrors, itīs seems like one of theese would be for a 968 or something... Well I put up a picture on each one and maybe someone can see if the both mirrors is to a 911.

The difference between them is the feet, thereīs a quit big difference in the angle on the left vs the right mirror.

Hope anywone can help me whith this.

They look correct to me. the posts on my 944 (968 mirrors) have a much more vertical mounting surface. It is normal they are not symmetric, as they don't go on the same spot on both doors.

Hello

look inside the post mounts and check the #number.

If they start with 964 they should be 911, if 928 or 968 shows up then you need to buy the correct bases.
The mirrors base is removable. The mirror case is always the same.

One thing I saw yesterday when I was driving with Beepbeep was that on my original right mirror itīs an extra plate who change the angle, but theres no plate on Beepbeeps car.

Can it be possible that my doors doesnīt are the same as the others 930?

My car is a 930 -77
Beepbeeps car is a 930 -81

I would bet that your right mirror is not in the correct place. most people that instal them without doing their homework put them symmetric to the left, which is wrong. look on another 911 that has the mirrors from the factory, and you'll see they are placed differently, hence the different "feet" on them
