Northern VA Glass Shop Recommendation
Hello,
The crack in the windshield of my '88 Carrera is getting pretty long, and I think that it's time to activate the windshield replacement portion of my insurance policy. I have no interest in doing this job myself. Does anyone have any experience with glass shops in Northern Virginia that they can recommend to perform work on my car? Any other tips (e.g. supply my own seal, not all brands of glass are created equal, and which brand to buy)? Thanks!

Ethan, I'm in Winchester and also thinking about having my windshield replaced on my '86 Cab. Mine has a lot of little stone chips in it. It is almost unsafe to drive when the sun is low and direct in front. Can you post which shop you end up using and if you are happy with their work after you are done?
