Not off the top of my head. Personally I would use a thread gauge to measure it.
I opened a post in our forums. A Pelican community member may be able to answer your question.

The t-stat in the engine is a huge hole.........

But if you're not running a t-stat, you can simply gut the t-stat by popping the cap off the bottom and remove the regulator.

Note that you'll have oil going to the small oil cooler right away when engine is cold. That's not good for the cooler, as sometimes can rupture due to difficulty of cold oil to flow thru small passages in cooler.

If you're removing the cooler and installing a filter housing, then oil cooler is a non-issue. However, it'd be wise to plug the cold side of the t-stat. Because w/out the t-stat in place, you have oil flowing in the cold direction and also the hot direction (thru the filter on hot side)

Here's some background on the cold vs. hot routing

Are you sure you mean the thermostat? - there is no thread, it's just a smooth bore hole.

Could you kindly post a picture of this 'hole'? Thanks.

Which thermostat? Engine or external oil cooler?

M6 X 12 per the PET

Just find a bolt in your stash for the pitch. It's a standard pitch. I don't remember it being a fine thread. Alternatively, take the nut to Lowe's, Home Depot or the local parts store and they (usually) have one of those gauge thingies you can screw nuts onto or screw bolts into to determine.

You are talking about a replacement cap, surely?

If the bung is in the cooler......just use a sender and not connect it. Make sure it is flush and secure. Nice oil leak point.....
