Muito prazer enap99. I'm not in Brazil, but I was there for a month recently. Wonderful country. Great people. I didn't really see any Porsches. What part of the country do you live in? Are there nice roads that you enjoy in your area?
I do remember noticing that nearly every car there is a manual. Big new city buses (Mercedes), taxi cabs (VW sedans), seemingly every car I looked at and rode in was a stick. I appreciate that!

Last time I was in Sao Paulo, a colleague took me to lunch on a street that had a Lamborghini dealership, Porsche dealership, Maserati maybe.
It was great (and the food and caprahina's were great!!!!). Todd

Tudo bom? My girlfriend is from Natal, such as beautiful part of the country, the beaches look amazing. From the pictures that I have seen, most of the aircooled rides wore VW badges on them. Would love to hear where you are from and some pics of the local rides. Brazil is such a beautiful country, the women, music and caperinhas are just icing on the cake!

I've been living in Sao Paulo (SBC) for a few months now and have yet to see a 911. All the cars here seem to be the same sedan or 5 door hatch back in silver or black (I drive a crappy Chevrolet Celta here). Elevator stopped on the wrong floor today at my apt and the door opened up to this gem. anybody here? Lovely ride. I don't know how it would survive the roads here.

Wonder why the 'Carrera' badge is so low. Built that way there?
Were they assembled in Brazil, like VW's had to be? Sure like the ROW bumperettes... Last edited by tcar; 03-21-2011 at 12:54 PM.. |
