MagMadness
Thinking about using colored magnetic sheeting to mag a track 'bra' - a combination of protection from track debris and a little trackish look for the [white] car.
While fooling with a solid stripe of color [blue?] down the hood scoop, flanked by two panels [yellow?] either side, I soon remembered that my graphical imagination is seriously challenged. So....let your imagination run wild - what would YOU do to stripe up the hood of a track car using this mag sheet? Colors available are black, blue, brown, gold, green, orange, silver, white, or yellow, and its 24 3/8" wide. Guess it can't be too complex - needs to go on for a track weekend once or twice a month.

I've done mine in red/white/black.
http://www.elephantracing.com/paint/paint.htm You can make your own but you'll find the biggest problem is storage without damage between track events. If you get the Track Skin from Pelican you get a great storage solution plus it will be cut precisely. Pelican has it here http://www.pelicanparts.com/catalog/shopcart/911M/por_911M_miscel_main.htm Pelican lists the standard single colors, but if you ask nice they might pass through your multi-color request.

I store mine on the garage fridge.

Goto www.mcmastercarr.com
enter magnetic sheeting in the search bar. For the colored stuff I bought 3 linear feet for $16 including shipping.

Do you have some information on that kind of Front Bumper?
I come across one under the winter as I start to modify to fit on my 930 and I have ever wonder what type of bumper it is. Picture on my modified bumper:

Jocke,
The bumper is a Strosek bumper. The one you picture uses 964 lights where mine would use 928S4 lights. Many aftermarket body companies make this bumper. Here is a better pic of the bumper. Try NR auto or BW motorsports.

Dan,
Really like your idea - its a whole lot better than the plain stripe idea. Thanx! Alex, You can also try http://www.beacongraphics.com/magnetic-sheeting.html 10 ft rolls for $35, lots of colors. Think this looks like a project. Will post a pic when its done.
