Vent block off

At the top of the hood just below the wipers is a vent that leads into the trunk area. Who and how have you blocked this off. I have removed all the ventilation system - did not work anymore and most of it was broken - (P/O). Pls. show me what you have done. Right now the rain water is getting in and making a mess. Thanks

I wouldn't block it off. I'd just fix the leak. Pull the blower out and check the seal and drain hose.

best thing would be to fab up a box with a drain tube at the bottom and seal around the top. heres a discussion on blocking the 914 vent 914World.com - The fastest growing online 914 community!

I am curious in various solutions as well. The car I am building will not have a fan system either.

What have others done?
