can anyone help, ive got a 75 2.7 911 engine with an annoying oil leak. theres no leak when its not running and theres no leak when its cold, but after a short run and once its warm i get a leak from somewhere round the oil cooler and it drips onto the top side of the drivers side heat exchanger and, woosh, instant smoke screen. any clues? Also, when its cold it sounds really tight and nice but when its warm it sounds tappy. hmmmm, normal old porky motor or something wrong?
thanks Andy |

on top of the engine, above where you see it leak, are the oil light switch, the thermostat with it's o ring, and the breather hose. they all can leak and it goes down by where the cooler mounts. overfilling the oil tank results in oil getting into the air cleaner area and leaking downwards too.
