3.6 Exhaust Port seals/gasket
I am installing European Racing Headers from GT Racing - very nicely made BTW.
The motor is a 95 3.6 but it is in an 86 911! Anyway the headers came with rather cheesy gaskets and I did not know the 993 uses exhaust port sealing rings. So should I reuse the rings and add the gaskets or buy new rings and forget the gaskets? I think I know what the answer will be but I thought I'd ask ![]()

I installed Fabspeed headers on my 3.6 conversion and i didn't use the 3.6 sealing rings, only the header gaskets and everything is fine.
For what it's worth the headers were previously installed on my 3.2 and i reused the same gaskets ... Cheers Phil

I wasn't expecting that!
I was waiting for the question, "Do you want it to seal, or do you want it to leak?"

However, this simple project has hit the wall...see anything odd here?

I have european racing headers installed on a '96 3.6L and used the seal rings. No leaks.
